Siddharth Saxena has been appointed as the Chief Technology Officer at Business NextGen Finance Private Limited (BNF), a newly certified RBI NBFC. In his new role, Siddharth will lead the technology vision of the organization, focusing on building secure, high-performance financial technology platforms to empower India’s MSME sector. He will be instrumental in driving innovation to create best-in-class digital lending experiences for underserved businesses.
Before joining BNF, Siddharth was the Chief Technology Officer at Vision Bank, Abu Dhabi, where he spearheaded technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives. His leadership enhanced customer experiences, optimized operations, and established a culture of innovation within the bank’s technology team. His work positioned Vision Bank as a leader in digital banking in the region.
Siddharth also had a long stint at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he held multiple senior roles including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Information Technology. During his tenure, he led end-to-end IT projects, supported customer acquisition and lending systems, and played a key role in implementing middleware, API management, Salesforce platforms, and digital lending solutions. His efforts contributed significantly to strengthening Kotak’s digital infrastructure and operational efficiency.
Earlier in his career, Siddharth worked with HDFC Bank for nearly nine years, where he managed technology initiatives across risk, retail assets, credit, and treasury. He began his career at National Informatics Centre (NIC) as a Management Trainee, where he designed NIC’s first-ever data warehouse system using open-source tools. With over 18 years of rich experience in banking technology, digital transformation, and software architecture, Siddharth now brings his expertise to BNF to advance financial access for India’s MSMEs.
