Kiran Punjabi has taken on a new role as General Manager – Human Resources at Philips in September 2025. Based in Pune, she will serve as HR Business Partner for multiple MedTech businesses, driving culture, people strategy, and workforce transformation in alignment with Philips’ vision for healthcare innovation.
Kiran has been with Philips for over five years, contributing in diverse HR leadership roles. Most recently, she was HR Business Partner, where she led the global “Culture Activation” change management program, enabling leaders across geographies to build high-performance, inclusive, and purpose-driven teams. Prior to this, as HR Manager for the global manufacturing footprint, she played a pivotal role in building workforce capabilities, executing progressive workforce models, and advancing operational excellence.
Before joining Philips, Kiran Punjabi gained valuable experience with Valvoline Cummins Ltd, Talent Transmission Management Pvt. Ltd., and Sparklet Engineers Pvt. Ltd., where she focused on talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development. Her diverse background across industries has shaped her into a well-rounded HR leader.
Recognized as an ETHR Emerging Leader 2023 and recipient of the HR Excellence Award 2025, Kiran is an alumna of XLRI Jamshedpur and continues to be known for shaping high-impact teams and progressive HR practices. Her new appointment at Philips further strengthens the company’s commitment to nurturing talent and advancing its culture transformation journey.
