Rakesh Kumar Sandhu (LinkedIn) has been appointed as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Religare Finvest Limited, effective July 2025. Based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, he will lead the company’s information security strategy, focusing on protecting digital assets, ensuring data privacy, and strengthening cybersecurity frameworks across all business operations.
Prior to his current role, Rakesh served as Vice President IT at Religare Finvest Limited, where he oversaw enterprise IT operations, network security, and data center management. He led key initiatives in firewall management, IT infrastructure optimization, and risk mitigation, driving operational excellence and technological resilience within the organization.
Rakesh’s career also includes his tenure as Associate Vice President (IT-Services) at Religare Finvest Limited, where he managed critical IT projects and implemented security protocols across multiple business units. He has held senior network and security engineering roles at NaviSite, UnitedLex Corporation, and CMC Ltd, where he developed expertise in firewalls, network security, and IT operations.
Earlier in his career, Rakesh contributed to enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects at CMC Ltd, UnitedLex Corporation, and NaviSite, building a strong foundation in network and security engineering. Over the years, he has earned recognition for his ability to design and implement robust security architectures, aligning technology with business goals.
With over 18 years of experience spanning IT management, network security, and cybersecurity leadership, Rakesh is poised to enhance Religare Finvest Limited’s cybersecurity capabilities and drive strategic initiatives to safeguard the company’s digital ecosystem.
