Kamal K. (LinkedIn) has been appointed as the Chief AI & Technology Officer at Centricity WealthTech, effective September 2025. Based in Gurugram, he will spearhead the firm’s AI-driven technology strategy, focusing on building scalable data platforms, enterprise-grade generative AI systems, and innovative digital solutions for the wealth management industry.
Prior to joining Centricity WealthTech, Kamal served as Head of AI Engineering & Solutions at Tata Digital, where he led AI initiatives across the commerce and fintech ecosystem under Tata Neu. He oversaw a cross-functional team of engineers and data experts, developing AI platforms, multimodal agent frameworks, and generative AI systems that powered customer engagement and operational efficiency across diverse business verticals.
Kamal’s career also includes his tenure as India Site Lead & Director of Engineering for Data Platforms, Analytics & ML at Expedia Group. There, he managed global technology roadmaps, strengthened data engineering practices, and facilitated organizational growth at Hotwire India. He has also held leadership roles at Thoughtworks, where he incubated advanced AI solutions and contributed to open-source innovation, and at Nagarro, where he established and scaled the Big Data & ML practice globally.
Earlier in his career, Kamal was Director and Global Head of Data and Analytics Platforms for Equities at S&P Global, where he built enterprise-scale data platforms and led distributed teams across continents. He also worked with Royal Bank of Scotland, ING Life Japan, and Citibank, where he delivered technology-driven solutions in risk forecasting, scoring systems, and enterprise data architecture. His journey began as a founding member at DEPL, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit early on.
With over two decades of experience spanning AI, data science, engineering leadership, and enterprise transformation, Kamal is recognized as a thought leader in leveraging technology to create large-scale business impact. His appointment is set to accelerate Centricity WealthTech’s vision of delivering next-generation wealth management solutions powered by artificial intelligence.
