Dr. Ganesh Lakshmanan has been appointed as the Chief Business Officer – Orthopaedics & Trauma at Amandeep Hospital – India. In this strategic leadership role, he will spearhead the development, expansion, and operational excellence of the orthopaedics and trauma vertical across Amandeep Hospitals and Ujala Cygnus hospitals. His focus will be on building accessible, high-quality, and affordable healthcare solutions that can positively impact patient care at scale.
With more than three decades of diverse experience, Dr. Lakshmanan brings proven expertise in healthcare business strategy, marketing, and corporate development. Prior to joining Amandeep Hospital, he served as Vice President – Corporate Development at Shalby Limited, where he played a key role in strengthening brand visibility for the world’s largest joint replacement centre and driving new business growth. His leadership has consistently been marked by innovative approaches to healthcare delivery and patient engagement.
Over the years, Dr. Lakshmanan has held senior leadership roles across healthcare, fintech, and media sectors, including Director – New Initiatives at GMoney Loans, CEO & Co-Founder of Kairos Solutions India, and senior positions at Bourn Hall Clinic India, Hosmac India Pvt. Ltd., and Infomedia India Ltd. His entrepreneurial ventures and industry-first initiatives, such as digital patient engagement platforms and cancer care management solutions, reflect his forward-looking approach to healthcare innovation.
Dr. Lakshmanan holds an Honorary Doctorate in Healthcare Business Management from Global Peace University and a strong foundation in communications and marketing from KC College.
