Prior to his elevation in July 2025, Vijay served as Divisional Vice President (DVP) at Aditya Birla Health for over two years. During this period, he was instrumental in steering the company’s expansion efforts in Southern India and strengthening distribution networks. His strong grasp on business dynamics and strategic execution has made him a key figure within the organisation’s leadership circle.
Before joining Aditya Birla Health Insurance, Vijay held senior roles at Star Health and Allied Insurance, and Care Insurance, where he served as Zonal Business Head and EMT Member. He has consistently demonstrated an ability to scale operations, streamline business units, and build lasting customer relationships. His tenure at Care Insurance, which spanned over eight years, laid the foundation for his domain expertise in health insurance distribution and regional business strategy.
Based in Bangalore, Vijay’s career began at Techno Tycoons and later included a pivotal stint at Max Bupa Health Insurance. Known for his people-first approach and sharp business acumen, Vijay is expected to play a key role in driving growth, innovation, and deeper market penetration in his new role.
