A strong advocate for academic excellence and organisational efficiency, he also plays a vital role in aligning administrative processes with the university’s broader mission and strategic goals.
Before joining OP Jindal University in this role, Dr. Panday served as the Principal of OP Jindal Community College in Patratu, Jharkhand. There, he led the college’s transformation into a multi-sectoral skill development hub, directly impacting thousands of students and vocational trainers across tribal and rural India. As a certified master trainer, he has conducted over 100 training programs under NSDC and collaborated with Sector Skill Councils to design industry-aligned curricula and assessment frameworks.
An academic by qualification and leader by practice, Dr. Panday holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from OP Jindal University and is a recognised voice in technical education, community engagement, and employability-driven training. His contributions have been pivotal in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, especially through CSR and community-driven skilling initiatives.
As OP Jindal University continues to grow as a leading institution in Eastern India, the addition of Dr. Panday to the leadership team marks a strategic move to strengthen administrative resilience and foster an environment of continuous improvement and inclusive growth.
