With over two decades of experience across leading pharmaceutical giants, Laxmi Kant’s elevation is a testament to his strategic leadership and consistent performance in driving business excellence across geographies and therapeutic segments.
In his new role at Jagsonpal Pharmaceuticals, where he has been serving since February 2023, Laxmi Kant will spearhead national sales operations with a strong focus on gynecology portfolios. His journey within the company began as Senior Sales Manager, overseeing the eastern, northern, and southern regions. Under his leadership, Jagsonpal strengthened its market presence, improved customer engagement, and optimized sales performance in a highly competitive landscape.
Laxmi Kant’s career spans across industry stalwarts such as Cipla, Alkem Laboratories, Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Glenmark, and CORONA Remedies. At Cipla, he played a critical role as Associate Director and Zonal Business Manager, managing east zone operations with a team of 55 professionals. His leadership contributed significantly to Cipla’s multi-specialty division growth. Prior to that, at CORONA Remedies, he successfully launched a new division from the ground up, achieving INR 66 lakhs/month sales in under two years.
His earlier roles at Alkem, Torrent, and Glenmark cemented his expertise in managing large sales teams, launching new divisions, and driving strategic growth across Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, and North East markets. With a strong academic foundation—a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from Magadh University and an MBA in Marketing and Management from LN Mishra College of Business Management—Laxmi Kant blends analytical thinking with a people-centric leadership style.
