Ashish Raina has joined HCLTech as General Manager – DFS Strategy, where he is leading product and practice development initiatives that are shaping the next generation of digital and platform services. In this strategic role, Ashish is responsible for driving vision, innovation, and growth across HCLTech’s Digital & Platform Services (DFS) ecosystem, strengthening the organisation’s market positioning and service portfolio.
At HCLTech, Ashish is spearheading efforts to transform platform-led services into market-leading capabilities, enabling business growth through strategic planning, capability expansion, and solution innovation. His mandate includes aligning technology offerings with evolving client needs and industry trends, particularly around AI-driven transformation, cloud modernization, and digital operations.
Prior to rejoining HCLTech, Ashish served as Senior Manager – Technology Consulting at EY, where he led large-scale IT infrastructure, cloud, and digital transformation programs. His work involved collaborating with C-level leaders to design modernization strategies, implement AIOps and automation initiatives, and strengthen outsourcing and GCC delivery models. Before EY, he was Solutions Lead for Business Strategy at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), driving enterprise-wide solutioning, large deal pursuits, and infrastructure transformation initiatives.
Ashish’s earlier career includes leadership roles across Cognizant, Wipro, Atos, and HCLTech, where he played a defining role in practice development, solution architecture, and presales strategy. Over the years, he has built a reputation for designing scalable, cost-optimized infrastructure solutions and aligning business strategy with technology execution. His experience spans multiple industries and global markets, underpinned by deep expertise in cloud, automation, and AI-driven innovation.
In his new role as General Manager at HCLTech, Ashish is set to leverage his extensive cross-industry experience to enhance the company’s digital transformation strategy. His leadership will focus on strengthening product innovation, accelerating market readiness for new offerings, and driving strategic initiatives that position HCLTech at the forefront of AI-powered and platform-led enterprise transformation.
