Amjad Khan has been appointed as Senior Vice President at Bharat Financial Inclusion Limited (100% subsidiary of IndusInd Bank Ltd.), a subsidiary of IndusInd Bank, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey within the financial services sector. In his new role, he will lead the Fraud, Robbery & Theft function, with responsibility for strengthening enterprise risk assessment, process engineering, governance frameworks, and internal controls to safeguard the organization against financial risks while supporting its financial inclusion agenda.
This appointment also marks a notable career transition as Amjad moves into the microfinance sector after an accomplished 19-year tenure with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited. Most recently serving as Head – Risk Investigation, he built extensive expertise in fraud prevention, risk investigations, governance, regulatory compliance, and customer protection, playing a pivotal role in strengthening risk management practices within the insurance industry.
Throughout his career, Amjad has demonstrated deep capabilities in enterprise risk management, fraud detection, investigations, and control frameworks.
