Prasant Tiwary has been appointed as Senior Vice President at The Citco Group Limited, marking a significant milestone in his distinguished career spanning nearly two decades in risk management, regulatory compliance, operational controls, and financial services leadership.
With extensive experience across global banking and financial institutions, Prasant has built deep expertise in enterprise risk management, control testing, governance, regulatory compliance, operational resilience, and transformation. Throughout his career, he has successfully led large-scale risk and control initiatives, established high-performing teams, strengthened governance frameworks, and enabled organizations to navigate complex regulatory environments while driving operational excellence.
Prior to joining The Citco Group Limited, Prasant served as Control Management Manager at Wells Fargo, where he led a 17-member team responsible for Risk Assessable Units, RCSA governance, control testing, thematic analysis, incident management, and regulatory compliance across the Corporate & Investment Banking Securities Services business. He played a pivotal role in building a scalable Testing Capability Center, expanding the team across Bangalore and Chennai, strengthening risk assurance capabilities, and aligning testing methodologies with regulatory expectations from the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, and OCC.
Earlier in his career, Prasant held key positions at Wells Fargo, as Independent Testing Associate Manager and Compliance Consultant. His professional journey also includes impactful roles at Goldman Sachs, JPMorganChase, Deutsche Bank, and IMS Learning Resources Pvt. Ltd., Across these organizations, he developed expertise in capital markets operations, prime brokerage, securities services, regulatory reporting, operational risk, trade lifecycle management, and data governance, contributing significantly to business transformation and control excellence.
