Kshitij Talekar has taken on a significant leadership role as Vice President – Design & Planning at Sugee Group, marking a pivotal moment in his accomplished two-decade career in architecture and large-scale real estate development. In this new role, he will lead the in-house design and planning function, working closely with consultants and stakeholders to drive high-impact residential, commercial, and hospitality projects aligned with the organisation’s vision.
With more than 22 years of experience, Kshitij brings a vast portfolio spanning high-rise residential developments, Grade-A corporate spaces, large commercial complexes, luxury hotels, and mixed-use environments. His work reflects strong command over design innovation, feasibility strategy, execution excellence, and design management across complex project environments. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with globally renowned firms including Skidmore Owings & Merrill (SOM), Foster + Partners, Nikken Sekkei, WATG, and Pelli Clarke Pelli, shaping some of India’s landmark projects.
Prior to joining Sugee Group, he served as General Manager – Design at Godrej Enterprises Group, where he led design delivery for ongoing and upcoming real estate developments. Before that, he spent nearly 14 years with P. G. Patki Architects as Senior Associate Architect, where his contributions helped deliver some of India’s most notable urban developments including Godrej One, Godrej BKC, Godrej Two, Taj The Trees, Lakeshore Mall, and multiple large-scale projects with Birla Estates.
Earlier in his career, Kshitij worked with organisations including Kalpataru, K. Raheja Corp, and Kalpataru Retail Ventures, where he gained critical experience managing design feasibility, consultant coordination, site-based architectural execution, and documentation practices across verticals. His technical expertise spans architectural design, feasibility studies, BIM-led design development, construction documentation, team leadership, and end-to-end design lifecycle ownership.
As Vice President – Design & Planning at Sugee Group, Kshitij is expected to play a central role in scaling strategic design operations, enhancing collaboration across project teams, and elevating the architectural refinement and delivery efficiency of upcoming developments. His background reflects a balance of creativity, leadership, and execution depth—positioning him strongly for this next chapter.
