Govind Agarwal has been appointed as the Senior Vice President and Branch Director at The Crayons Network, where he will lead the Mumbai operations and drive the company’s creative and business growth initiatives. With an impressive career spanning over two decades across marketing, client services, and business development, Govind brings a rich blend of strategic vision and leadership excellence to his new role. His appointment marks a significant milestone for The Crayons Network as it continues to expand its footprint in India’s competitive advertising and digital marketing space.
Before joining The Crayons Network, Govind served as Business Development Head – Brand & Digital Marketing at Nihilent Technologies Inc, where he led major digital transformation and branding initiatives for clients across diverse sectors. His tenure at Nihilent was marked by innovation-driven campaigns that enhanced brand visibility and market engagement. Govind’s experience in blending technology with creative communication positioned him as a key player in bridging business growth and brand strategy.
Previously, Govind held senior roles at Havas Creative Network, where he worked as Vice President – Client Services, managing end-to-end advertising services for clients like UTI Mutual Fund, JBL Harman, and Fortis Hospitals (South). His leadership at Havas was instrumental in integrating media, PR, digital, and design solutions into cohesive, high-impact campaigns. Prior to this, at Publicis Groupe, he served as Associate Vice President – Client Services, managing large accounts such as CITI, Siemens, Ferrero, Nutella, Balaji Wafers, Lenskart, Raymond Realty, and Skoda, leading a team of over 20 professionals and overseeing business worth ₹8 crore.
Govind’s earlier experience includes his role as Vice President – Strategy, Marketing & Client Services at Bang In The Middle, where he established the Mumbai presence of the agency and secured prestigious clients including INOX Leisure, JSW Energy, Mumbai Duty Free, and Monsanto India. His strategic acumen and client-centric approach helped the agency earn multiple industry awards. He also spent four years at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide (JWT) as Client Services Director + Design Manager, where he co-led the JWT Design team and managed campaigns for renowned brands like Kellogg India, Godrej, Bank of India, and Kotak Life Insurance.
Govind began his professional journey with HDFC Bank as an HNI Relationship Manager, where he consistently ranked among the top performers in credit card and insurance sales across the Delhi NCR region. His transition from the banking sector to advertising highlights his versatility and adaptability across industries. With his wealth of experience across organizations like Euro RSCG, JWT, Havas, Publicis, Nihilent Technologies, and now The Crayons Network, Govind Agarwal’s appointment reflects a dynamic trajectory driven by creativity, strategy, and leadership excellence.
