Gangadhar Sahoo has joined Jakson Green as Deputy General Manager, bringing close to two decades of extensive experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management. Known for his practical expertise and strong leadership in implementing safety systems, Gangadhar has worked across major sectors including renewable energy, oil and gas, and thermal power.
At Jakson Green, based in Bikaner, Rajasthan, he continues to drive the organization’s commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and environmental excellence. His efforts contribute directly to ensuring sustainable project execution and operational efficiency within the company’s large-scale renewable energy initiatives.
Previously, he served as Senior Manager at Jakson Green, leading safety frameworks for multiple solar and energy projects across India. Before that, he held key roles at Cholamandalam MS Risk Services, Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy, Odisha Power Generation Corporation, Punj Lloyd, IHI Corporation, and L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering. Over the years, he has been part of landmark projects such as the Maitree Super Thermal Power Plant in Bangladesh, NTPC’s North Karanpura Power Project in Jharkhand, and several large solar projects in Rajasthan and Haryana.
With global certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, and ISO 45001:2018, Gangadhar has consistently demonstrated expertise in industrial safety, hazard analysis, and occupational health management. His work continues to play a significant role in fostering sustainability, innovation, and responsible operations within India’s evolving energy landscape.
