Shirish Ghosal has been appointed as General Manager – Data & Retail Partnerships at The Trade Desk, Mumbai. With an extensive background in digital advertising and ad tech, Shirish brings over a decade of expertise in programmatic advertising, monetization strategy, and audience-driven solutions.
Prior to joining The Trade Desk, Shirish served as Associate Director – Ad Tech Partnerships, Solutions & Operations at JioHotstar, and Head – Ad Tech Strategy & Partnerships at Disney+ Hotstar, where he led ad tech strategy, optimized Live & VOD inventory, and managed programmatic partnerships with SSPs and DSPs. He also oversaw audience graph activation through first-party data, clean rooms, and syndicated sources, delivering high-impact, data-driven solutions.
Earlier, Shirish spearheaded ads monetization and GTM strategy at Dailyhunt, driving revenue growth and strengthening market positioning. He also co-founded Redmatter, a marketing technology agency, gaining entrepreneurial experience and expertise in digital marketing solutions.
