Viren Sarvaiya has been appointed as General Manager – Operational Excellence at Swiss Parenterals Ltd. In this role, he will spearhead initiatives to enhance efficiency, streamline manufacturing processes, and strengthen the company’s operational strategies. Based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, Viren brings a proven track record of driving continuous improvement, digital transformation, and sustainable operational excellence across leading pharmaceutical organizations.
Before joining Swiss Parenterals, Viren served at Piramal Pharma Solutions for over two years, where he contributed to operational excellence and strategy development. As Senior Manager – Operational Excellence, he played a key role in supporting manufacturing sites in achieving strategic OE goals and implementing lean methodologies. His earlier role as Manager – Operational Excellence showcased his deep expertise in process optimization, project management, and performance measurement.
Earlier in his career, Viren gained valuable experience at Baxter International Inc. as a Senior Associate – Operational Excellence, where he implemented Lean Six Sigma practices and supported process improvement projects across production operations. Prior to that, he worked at Zydus Group as Senior Executive – Manufacturing Excellence, where he led multiple Kaizen initiatives and drove efficiency programs across production lines.
Viren also spent several years at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he held various positions including Officer – Operational Excellence and Production Officer, contributing to the company’s process improvement and quality enhancement efforts. His early career experience at Klockner Desma Machinery Pvt. Ltd. as an Engineering Apprentice laid the foundation for his strong analytical and manufacturing skills.
With his deep expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and change management, Viren’s appointment at Swiss Parenterals Ltd marks a strategic move towards strengthening the company’s focus on operational transformation and excellence.
