Naman Chopra, CSCP has been appointed as Deputy General Manager at Ather Energy, where he is responsible for P&L ownership of Integrated Information and Material Management at Ather Auric Factory 3.0. In this role, Naman leads initiatives to optimize supply chain operations, enhance material flow, and drive operational excellence across the organization’s EV manufacturing operations.

Prior to Ather Energy, Naman spent over six years at Caterpillar Inc. in roles including Value Chain Designer, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Supply Network Operations Supervisor. He led multiple Six Sigma transformation projects, implemented Total Cost of Ownership and Total Chain Inventory frameworks, and deployed enterprise mobility solutions that improved productivity and efficiency across three product lines. His efforts delivered measurable cost savings exceeding $2.3 million while enhancing supply chain agility and performance.

Earlier in his career, Naman contributed to leading automotive and industrial companies such as Volvo Group, Bosch India, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and umlaut company, where he specialized in process optimization, value stream mapping, and lean manufacturing principles. He successfully implemented projects that improved throughput, reduced inventory, and optimized material handling in complex manufacturing environments.

A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and CSCP professional, Naman is recognized for his strategic problem-solving abilities, continuous improvement advocacy, and expertise in building efficient, cost-effective value chains. With a career spanning India and the United States, he continues to drive operational excellence and transformative supply chain initiatives that support the growth of India’s EV sector.
