Raman K has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Hinduja Foundation, bringing over two decades of leadership experience across corporate strategy, consulting, sales, and marketing. In his new position, Raman will spearhead the foundation’s mission-driven initiatives, leveraging his expertise in strategic planning, change management, and large-scale program execution. His career reflects a deep commitment to building organizational capabilities, fostering impactful partnerships, and driving sustainable social development.
Prior to joining Hinduja Foundation, Raman spent over nine years at Tata Trusts, most recently as Head of Strategy. In this role, he played a catalytic part in conceptualizing and implementing transformative programs, establishing systems for strategic planning, annual work planning, and governance, as well as setting up rigorous monitoring and audit mechanisms to ensure effective execution. He also served as Project Director at Tata Trusts, overseeing large-scale, multi-sector initiatives aimed at delivering measurable community impact.
Raman’s earlier career includes an impressive tenure of nearly a decade at Tata Strategic Management Group, where he was Practice Head – Telecom, Technology & Education. There, he crafted innovative solutions for clients across telecom, ITeS, education, and device manufacturing sectors, covering areas such as growth strategy, competitive intelligence, customer experience enhancement, and organizational design. His leadership was instrumental in expanding service portfolios, strengthening client relationships, and positioning the practice as a thought leader in its domain.
Before his consulting career, Raman held senior leadership positions at Bharti Airtel Ltd, serving as Head – Sales (Corporate), Head – Marketing (TN Circle), and Senior Sales Manager – SMB, where he was credited with launching new verticals, driving subscriber growth, and building high-performing sales teams. He began his career at Mattel Toys India Private Limited as Sales Manager, managing trade operations and key accounts across Southern India.
With his appointment at Hinduja Foundation, Raman is set to bring a results-oriented, strategic, and collaborative approach to the organization’s philanthropic efforts. His blend of corporate and social sector experience positions him uniquely to steer the foundation towards impactful, scalable, and sustainable outcomes.
