Ankur Bhandari has taken on a new role as Head of Finance at Magenta Mobility, bringing with him over 17 years of robust financial leadership across the manufacturing and service sectors. In this strategic role, Ankur will be overseeing the company’s financial operations, compliance frameworks, and business partnering efforts to support Magenta’s expansion and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Magenta Mobility, Ankur was the Finance Head – Freight Forwarding Business at DP World, where he led high-impact finance functions including forecasting, budgeting, strategic planning, and EBITDA analysis. His career spans key leadership roles at organizations such as Mahindra Logistics, VRS Foods, and BASF India, where he consistently drove financial transformation, CAPEX project accounting, and governance in line with global standards like IGAAP, IND AS, IFRS, and US GAAP.
A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Ankur has also earned a Diploma in International Financial Reporting from ACCA and holds a Master’s degree in Commerce. His broad expertise covers everything from treasury and taxation to M&A due diligence and ERP implementations like SAP and Cargowise. He is known for establishing centralized shared service centers, strengthening internal financial controls, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

His proven track record in aligning financial strategy with business objectives makes him a valuable addition to the leadership team.
