Gajendra Bhardwaj has been appointed as the Assistant Vice President at BSES Delhi, one of India’s leading power distribution companies known for its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and reliable electricity solutions. In his new capacity, Gajendra will be responsible for driving financial excellence, strengthening operational frameworks, and ensuring fiscal discipline across key business functions. He will oversee critical aspects of financial planning, project finance, treasury management, and audit governance—contributing to the company’s vision of delivering efficient, sustainable, and customer-centric energy solutions in the capital region.
With over two decades of robust experience in finance, strategy, and governance, Gajendra brings a wealth of expertise from leading organizations in the power and energy sectors. Prior to joining BSES Delhi, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Gasonet, where he successfully led fund-raising initiatives, managed due diligence for equity dilution, and streamlined project finance and treasury operations. His strategic foresight helped establish robust financial systems and improve the organization’s financial agility during a period of growth and transformation.
Before his tenure at Gasonet, Gajendra worked with Jiangsu Shemar Electric Co. Ltd. as Financial Controller, where he was instrumental in developing financial frameworks, leading statutory and internal audits, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and efficiency. His proactive approach to governance and financial risk management strengthened organizational resilience and operational performance.
He also held leadership positions at THINK Gas and TATA Power, where he managed financial planning, budgeting, taxation, and regulatory operations across multiple projects. During his 11-year tenure at TATA Power, Gajendra contributed significantly to project costing, ERP implementation, and internal financial controls, building a solid foundation in energy sector finance and strategic project management.
