Sanu Kumar has been appointed as Deputy General Manager – Total Rewards Strategy & Workforce Solutions at ReNew, based in Gurugram, Haryana. With over 13 years of experience in strategic HR leadership, total rewards, and workforce transformation, Sanu continues to build on his impactful journey in the energy and technology sectors.
Before taking on this role, he served as Assistant General Manager – HR Business Partner Lead at ReNew, where he collaborated with leadership across multiple business units, including Green Hydrogen, Carbon Credits, B2B, Hydro PSP, Energy Markets, and enabling functions like Finance, Legal, CSR, and Sustainability. His contributions were pivotal in driving organizational effectiveness and people strategy.
Earlier, Sanu held leadership roles at LTI – Larsen & Toubro Infotech, where he served as Associate Director and Senior Manager – HR Business Partner. During his tenure, he led HR transformation for Emerging Markets, managed HR workstreams during M&A integrations, and championed diversity and compliance as Honor Knight – POSH for Emerging Markets.
Sanu began his professional journey with Tata Steel, gaining valuable experience in operations and process analysis, followed by HR roles at Atos, Aon Hewitt, Nestlé India, Nomura Services India, Work Store Limited, and VVF (India) Ltd..
